What are Fastpasses
Monday, January 19, 2009 15:31If you haven’t been to the park in a few years (or ever) you may not be familiar with the Fastpass idea so here’s the basics. Fastpasses are exactly what the same says – a past to get you on the ride faster. Rather than waiting in the normal for a ride a Fastpass holder returns at a designated time and waits in a shorter line, sometimes just a few minutes before getting on the ride. Fastpasses are designed to let people wait less for long rides and get more rides in.
A few notes about fast passes:
- When you get a Fastpass it will tell you when you can get the next one.
- Fastpasses list a start and end time but can be used any time after the start time.
- Fastpasses work for only the day they are issued and then become worthless.
- If the majority of your group (i.e. 4 out of 5) have a pass you can all ride it.
- Fastpasses don’t always mean there will be no lines but they should mean shorter lines.
- Not all rides have Fastpasses, this includes some new rides.
